BETWEEN TWO WORLDS (1944) Several people are killed in a London air raid. They each awake aboard a strange ship which will deliver each of them either to heaven or hell. Their lives and stories are revealed as they individually begin to realize where they are. A must for Twilight Zone fans.

BLACK CANDLES (1980) Directed by Jose' Larraz--but not credited.  This is Larraz's Satanic film with Goat arse kissing and rectal sword swallowing.  Satanic conspirators involve a young woman in Black Masses and bestiality. Larraz will never let you down when it comes to having fun with goats.

CASTLE OF THE LIVING DEAD (1964) Starring Christopher Lee and Donald Sutherland. Count Drago preserves the dead with life, as mad creatures roam the dark corridors of his haunted castle. The atmosphere is chilling in this classic 60's horror flick.

GHOST STORY/ CIRCLE OF FEAR ENTIRE RUN Ghost Story / Circle of Fear started on Network T.V. March 17th 1972 and ran until March 30th 1973. Developed for television by Richard Matheson. Executive produced by William Castle. Sebastion Cabot introduces the "Ghost Story "   episodes in a Rod Serling type way, but of course with an aristocratic flair.   With writers ranging from Matheson himself, Robert Bloch, Harlan Ellison, and Jimmy Sangster (from Hammer) amongst many others, they managed to create their share of nightmare inducing tales in this short period of time (which produced 23 episodes). Playing the Widow Fortune, Bette Davis makes this made for TV movie worth every minute; in one of her last performances, Davis really brings in the creepy. DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK (1973) Starring Kim Darby. THE GHOST OF FLIGHT 401 (1978) This made for TV film is based on real reports of ghost sightings on several planes that had salvaged Flight 401 equipment on them. Some of these aircraft were leased to other airlines, and there were ghost sightings on them as well.

GHOSTHOUSE aka La Casa 3   (1987)  Directed by Umberto Lenzi.  A haunted house possessed by the specter of a young girl and her crazed doll harass its occupants.  This film has a strange score that sounds like it was created by starving dwarves.  GET THIS TITLE presented with COLOR BOX ART here

GHOSTS, ITALIAN STYLE (1968) This Italian comedy stars the gorgeous Sophia Loren. She and her husband live in a haunted house, rent free. Are the ghostly occurrences coming from the specter of the night or the sexy, unsatisfied wife's young lover? This is where the comedy comes in. Worth a watch for Loren, of course, but the film is strange in its comic timing and style.

GHOST KEEPER Canadian version of THE SHINING. Some tourists get lost in a snowstorm, stay overnight in a creepy old lodge and meet a crazy old hag who forgets to tell them about a ghost creature that lives in the basement and feasts on human flesh.

THE HAUNTED CASTLE (1921) In this early dark thriller from F.W. Marnau, we get to see the master of German Expressionism establishing and building his style and themes for which he would become famous.

MAGDELENA: POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL aka Devil's Female (1974) This German Exorcist rip-off is complete filth. A young blonde orphan becomes possessed by the devil and obscene blasphemy rules the girl's life.

MALPERTUIS aka Malpertuis: The Legend of Doom House (1971) Starring Orson Welles.  A brilliant Haunted House film.  Orson Welles plays a character that is the shadow which covers the secrets of the house that is revealed as the movie moves through atmosphere and surreal labyrinths. SCREAM AND DIE aka The House That Vanished, Psycho Sex Fiend.  (1973) Directed by Jose Larraz.  A young model and her thief boyfriend find their way to an English manor in hopes of looting it. What they find instead is a haunted house of murder.

SOLE SURVIVOR (1970) The ghosts of soldiers passed plan to expose a General as a coward who deserted them before their tragic end. An eerie film with a  classic Twilight Zone feel.

TERROR IN THE WAX MUSEUM (1973) As a kid, I loved this spooky film about a wax museum and its stiff occupants haunting the town. The mystery keeps moving as wax figures of Jack the Ripper and Lizzie Borden come to life in blood thirsty rages.

THE VIJ  (1967) Russian w/ English Subtitles.  A witch tricks a Priest into killing a young woman.  The next day he is called to give the woman her last rights and  the Priest is forced to stay in the same room with the girl's body overnight.  Needless to say, the witch still has plans for the young Priest.  This film is completely amazing.  The effects and cinematography are a great addition to this wonderful Gogol story that's based on a Russian Folk Tale.
