Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 1 - "The New House" - Barbara Parkins, David Birney - A new house holds a terrifying secret, and a deadly surprise for an expectant couple - genuinely creepy, and written by Richard Matheson. Next, we have "The Summer House" - Carolyn Jones, Steve Forrest - Her husband's summer house traps a woman in a recurring world of doom after she murders him.

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 2 - "House of Evil" A young Jodie Foster is a mute unaware little witch being used by her evil grandfather (Melvyn Douglas) for malevolent acts on her family. Also with Richard Mulligan and written by Robert Bloch. "The Dead We Leave Behind" - Jason Robards is Ranger Elliot Brent who has just purchased a TV set for his wife Joanna (Stella Stevens). They reside in a remote forest area. When the TV shows images of Joanna being unfaithful, Elliot goes mad and kills her, then buries her . Later, during a stormy night, the man Joanna was supposedly being unfaithful with appears. Elliot kills and buries him too. Later, the TV displays images of Joanna and her lover rising for revenge against Elliot...

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 3 - "The Concrete Captain" - Stuart Whitman and Gena Rowlands play a couple involved in a deadly coastal haunting   + "Legion of Demons" - Shirley Knight, Jon Cypher, Neba Patterson - Satanic fun as a devil cult terrorizes and preps a woman for sacrifice. Plays like a 70's "Devil Flick" of the era (only shorter at under an hour) with satanic altars, occult imagery, robed cultists, and a "Rosemary's Baby" vibe ( a little, hell, William Castle DID produce this show after all)

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 4 - "Earth, Air, Fire and Water" - Tyne Daly, Tim McIntire, Frank Converse - Six artists move into an abandoned storefront where they come upon six jars that contain black magic. Their artworks become infected with evil and take on a whole new meaning - Great ! + "Alter - Ego" - Miss Helen Hayes stars - An injured young boy has a mischievous doppelganger ...

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 5 - "Creature of the Canyon" - Angie Dickinson, John Ireland - Suspicious, Pissed off Doberman Pincer can't accept his master's death, and hunts his widow relentlessly, even if it means possessing her pet poodle to finish her off - Incredible ! + "Bad Connection" - Karen Black stars and is incredibly sexy in this. She works the phones in a lawyers office, and is the recipient of a series of creepy haunted calls from beyond, demanding she fulfill her promise...

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 6 - "Touch of Madness" - Geraldine Page and Rip Torn star - A woman experiences a haunting, unaware she is hanging with the dead until the creepy realization hits her like a ton of bricks + "Graveyard Shift" - John Astin and Patty Duke Astin star as John and Linda Colby. Three evil spirits are battling for control of the soul of Linda's unborn child. William Castle cameos in this one.

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 7 - "Death's Head" - Janet Leigh stars as a woman who murders her husband to be with another man (Rory Calhoun). Dead hubby returns as a Death's Head Moth that wants her dead. Also with Gene Nelson. Awesome. + "Elegy for a Vampire" - Hal Linden, Mike Farrell, and Heather North star in this one which involves a hungry vampire on campus... Also with Arthur O'Connell

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 8 - "Time of Terror" - Patricia Neal, Craig Stevens and Bruce Kimmel - A woman seems to be caught between the world of the living and the world of death after an accident. "Doorway to Death" - Susan Dey, Barry Nelson and Leif Garrett star - A doorway in an apartment building leads to another world where a man with an axe lives in a winter setting -

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 9 - "Dark Vengeance" - Married couple are haunted by a wooden horse that keeps growing and growing. Suitably creepy, this one I remembered having nightmares about when I was 10. Maybe it's hilarious now, but I guarantee you won't see anything quite like this on network T.V. nowadays. Martin Sheen and Kim Darby star + "The Phantom of Herald Square" - David Soul, Sheila Larken and Victor Jory star. Some bizarre arrangement of immortality with Satan keeps a man young at day, but old at night...

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 10 - "Spare Parts" - Meg Foster, Don Knight, Susan Oliver, Rick Lenz, Christopher Connelly - A great little horror tale ! A guy is parted out after death and the transplanted parts possess their new homes to get back at the wife - Great ! + "Half a Death" - Pamela (The Innocents) Franklin as Christina. She is being scared to death yet again, this time by the spirit of her dead twin sister she never knew she had...

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 11 - "At the Cradle Foot" - Lisa James, James Franciscus, Meg Foster - A man's haunted dreams may be a premonition or a warning... + "Cry of the Cat" - Doug McClure, Mariette Hartley and Jackie Cooper - A man has a were-cougar for a wife !

Ghost Story / Circle of Fear : Disc 12 - "The Ghost of Potter's Field" - Tab Hunter stars as a man with a Doppelganger, that has evil intentions as it begins to tear his life apart - +   on the same program !!!! - "The Haunting of Harrington House" (81) This stars the actress Dominique Dunn from "Poltergeist" that was murdered by her boyfriend in 82 and is a MFTV Ghost Thriller...
